PLAY DIRECTLY ON THIS PAGE
Choose two cards. A matching pair stays face-up; a different pair turns back over after a short pause. Continue until you match every pair on the board.
Great work.
Select cards with a mouse, touchscreen, or keyboard. Press Tab to move between cards and Enter or Space to turn one over.
SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS
A group of face-down cards appears on the board. Every picture is hidden beneath two cards. Turn over one card, remember its picture, and then choose a second card.
Identical pictures remain visible as a matched pair. Different pictures turn face-down again after a short pause. The round ends when every pair has been found.
Start with 6 or 8 pairs, or select the original Classic 16-pair challenge.
Look at the picture and remember where it appeared.
A matching picture stays visible; a different one turns back over.
Your moves, completed pairs, and playing time remain visible.
PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE
The timer counts upward only to show how long a round takes. It never ends the game, removes points, or rushes the next move. Take as much time as you need to look at each card.
Turn sound off for quiet play, choose Peek when you want a brief look at the unmatched cards, or start a smaller board whenever the Classic layout feels too busy.
A MORE COMFORTABLE BOARD
The updated game keeps the familiar matching rules while giving you more control over the board, card size, sound, and pace.
Enlarges the cards, controls, game messages, and progress information.
Begin with 6 pairs or work up to the original 16-pair Classic board.
Temporarily reveals unmatched pictures without adding moves to your total.
Short browser-generated tones confirm matches and can be turned off at any time.
PHONE, TABLET, OR COMPUTER
The board rearranges itself for desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones. On a small phone, turning the screen sideways can create more room for the Challenge and Classic boards.
Senior Mode is available before or during a game. Changing the card size does not restart the round, alter your matches, or change the hidden card positions.
ENJOYABLE VISUAL RECALL PRACTICE
Matching games ask you to notice pictures, remember locations, and recognize a picture when it appears again. That can make them enjoyable visual-recall practice and a pleasant way to spend a few minutes.
